Kusthi is a traditional Indian martial art. Competition takes place on a special mud surface and historical wooden and stone equipment is used during the practice. Kusthi is not only a sport – it’s a lifestyle. In the past wrestlers used to live in Akharas (practice places) and follow a very strict diet and rules. All days were slip into practice and prayers. Now more places changed their rules in most places and participants come only for training.
